Claimed for its ability to boost immunity, gut health and with other medicinal properties, Kombucha is gaining popularity amongst many health seekers quickly. If you’re a fan of how-to sessions and would love to be able to make your own Kombucha, then make sure to join us at 10 Cable St for a Kombucha Masterclass with Adam Vanni from JARR Kombucha.

Kombucha is an all-natural, raw fermented tea. It’s a delicious dose of goodness for your gut, low in sugar and packed full of beneficial bacteria, acids, vitamins and enzymes. JARR uses the finest ingredients in their brew; organic loose-leaf green and oolong tea sourced from two single estates in Sri Lanka and Taiwan, organic cane sugar and pure filtered water. For flavour they add freshly juiced ginger or 100% passion fruit purée.

At this workshop you’ll learn about:

  • The history and science of kombucha
  • JARR’s story
  • A step by step on how to brew your own kombucha
  • A Q&A with Adam 

Tickets cost £26 (+ booking fee) and include:

  • A 1 litre glass brewing jar
  • Organic tea + organic sugar for a 1 litre batch JARR’s very own “starter liquid” to kick start your own brew and grow your own SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast)
  • A JARR home brew recipe
  • A 240 ml bottle of either Passion Fruit or Ginger JARR Kombucha (worth £3.99)
  • Plant based dinner cooked by 10 Cable St in-house chef Moko.

10 Cable St is a Plant based venue who organises and hosts plant-based supperclubs, classes, talks and workshop events based around sustainability and wellbeing. They believe it’s important to consider the wider impact of the things we do on a daily basis. From the food we eat, what we buy and the products we use, minimising the impact on our bodies and the planet is always at the forefront of their minds.

*The door opens at 18:30, please do not arrive before this time as we won't be able to let you in, if you need some time to kill there are couple of great bars around the venue! Wilton music hall and Simmons to name a couple!
